In addition to conference-wide retreats and weekend local church emphasis,
what activities do you use to engage families, address the needs of the “new”
forms of families, and incorporate family ministry in the church without alienating those who do not see themselves as part of any family?

As a convert through an evangelistic series followed by personal studies who entered ministry after being a teacher, technical writer and law student, I’ve been passionate about evangelism since 1981. I’ve served in pastoral ministry in Ohio, Central California, Carolina and Kansas-Nebraska Conferences. Additionally, I’ve preached evangelistic campaigns in Cuba, Dominica, and Kenya. I’ve been a conference lay evangelism trainer and conference evangelism coordinator in two conferences.
